The flange nut stripped? Ive never done that. To be clear ive had the flange nut come loose and the 14 mm hex spin and strip the wheel. Since those days ive tightened down the flange nuts pretty hard and never stripped one. If the flange nut is stripped you may want to check the threads on...
The stall is normal for break in. You may have to blip the throttle from time to time to keep the engine from loading up too much and stalling. If the roto start battery was weak after one start something may be wrong with that battery. If receiver battery is low it may not close the throttle...
Fuel filter is inside the tank. If yours is not I would recommend getting the stock tank that does. If you add another one and it has even a tiny leak you will have trouble tuning and keeping it running. I haven't used a second fuel filter in years. With the linkage mod-try to tinker a little...
I have not stripped a wheel since I was a complete newbie and had the original t maxx. I don't know how good that is going to work but you should be fine with the stock savage stuff. Make sure to tighten down the flanged nut properly. If the nylon wears out get new ones. I'm not sure about all...
I use odonnells in the savage. 20 percent keeps the truck running cool, reliably, and easy to tune. There is so much power I never felt the need to try to go to 30 percent.
I like the nitro start. Ive had better luck than the roto start 2. The rs2 buttons did not seem to last over long. The nitro start is a better design in terms of durability and ergonomics. Just my opinion.
I have always had great luck with the stock savage x ss parts. Just make sure that your mesh is correct and you should have no problems. Don't forget to thread locker on all the screws that mount the motor. All the screws on the whole truck for that matter.
Thats creative. Nice job. Personally I don't use wheelie bars and I can still ride a pretty good wheelie. I had one on a revo and it seemed to always be in the way.
