Hey thanks guys, I didnt think about the gearing being to high. When I put in the picco I changed the gearing to 18/47, and back to 17/47 after the cen diffs. I guess i didnt go low enough, and come to think of it the picco ripped before the cens and after its kind of like a stock 4.6.
The...
I am having a problem with my p3. It runs in the 250F range but its at stock settings and it is sealed around the backplate and around the carb. base, the gearing is 17/47 with cen diffs, mid tank and ext flms. The temps flucuate from 230 to 250. I have tried to reseal it, checked fuel lines and...
Thanks guys, thats the third body I have painted. I cant wait to run it, the last time I ran it the rear diff bearing decided to go out and take the rear bulk with it. I took everything apart to clean and inspect and i found that the engine plate was also cracked so I replaced it also. While it...
Yea, I bought 4 avid rubber sealed bearings from lhs. One side is rubber shielded and the other is metal. I've never used these before but they seem high quality, very smooth and no play.
Freddy I need the parts to do the upgrade, and thanks for the fast reply just what i was needing! I think I will order from eHobbies how are they. Advantage is cheapest but out of stock.:cussing:
I had a stock bearing go out the other day which ruined my bulkhead, so I am in the process of doing the cen diff mod. Problem is i cant find the GS005 26t. bevel gear any where. I have everything else that I ordered through my LHS but the bevel gear is on backorder at horizon which is his...
I have a set of maximizers with off set and i don't like them. The bead always comes out after about every bash, and I'm not hard on the truck. I thinking of switching to pro line dish wheels in black because I like the race look better plus their cheap.
Are you sure that the spring is on the tank and cap right? The rounded end points down and fits on the tank by the filler hole, and the two pointed ends point upwards and and run parallel with the cap.
I voted maximizer. I have the 1/2'' offset and they are very stable, but also add a little weight. I agree with doesgo assembly sucks, my finger tips were sore about a week.
The newest is nitro, also mountain biking, ATVs, wrenching full scale vehicles, and school. Yea the last one is weird but I major in aviation maintenance, so I get to wrench most of the time.
So I was just in my lhs and found they sell maximizer beadlocks for $26 a pair. I'm getting the white 17mm locks but don't know what tire or off set to run. will the 1/2 off set negatively affect my steering other than trying to flip over?
