I just looked at the picture that you posted on McF's question about a picture and the metal part you're talking goes on either side of the spur by the looks of things correct?
I have an X 4.6 RTR and I'm just replacing my first spur gear. The one I took off looks way different than the one my LHS gave me. The old one has a sort of tapered cone on the one side (HPI P/N 76937, 47T) and the new one is flat on both sides (HPI P/N 77094, 49T) before I get too carried away...
Does anyone know of a larger radio gear cover for the 4.6 X RTR? I have seen some clear ones which look really cool. But ultamitely I'm looking for a larger/taller cover for the radio box. If anyone knows where I can get such a beast please let me know. Thanks for the help.
Yeah, please do keep me posted as to what you find out. Maybe with a few strategically placed holes it just might fit. Thanks for your help. If anyone else has any more insight please let us know.
That's a great idea moto!!! I never thought of anything like that, but they would work great. Next time I'm at the farm supply store I'm going to look into that. I also love parkermarsh's idea about the body posts/retainer built into one. As Pineapple said when you do a lid skid down the...
I Think that might work. The only problem I can see is that everything is made from plastic and could possibly wear out during some rubber side up excursions. But I might take Du-Bro's idea one step further and build the same sort of idea only using an alum. center post and aircraft cable...
My project pales in comparision to the fantastic jobs/projects contained in this forum but I'll still share it anyway. I'm in the process of getting some custom made alum. body posts built. Seems like everytime my truck ends up with the rubber pointed the wrong way the stock plastic body...
I tried some searching but to no avail. Does anyone have any tips on keeping the body clips from disappearing off the truck or from being bent beyond recognition? I've tried the home made pull tabs, bending the end up at a 45 deg. angle and was thinking at the time that these are not going to...
Don't remember exactly but I think it was a turn or 2. I just put the 2 left or 2 right side wheels against my tool box and turned the tie rod until both wheels were square to the tool box.
I have the RPM arms and they are great. Guaranteed for life under normal conditions. I broke one set of stock arms, did some research and replaced them with a set of RPM arms and liked the one set so much I replaced all the ones that weren't broken with RPM arms and keep the stock ones as...
Yeah go with the RPM arms. I went down that road and broke one set of a-arms and liked them so much I replaced all the other ones that weren't broke and I keep the stock ones as spares. The RPM arms also fit tighter so there is less play where the arms mount. You probably will have to adjust...
Do you have to pull the whole tranny to repair that? As it doesn't seem to easy to get at. And why did it come out, is it because the inner rotor is gone? If you can pull the rod out does that mean I'm missing the plunger too?
