I got a friend of mine that runs the OS 30 vg and loves it. He says that it has plenty of power to rocket his X SS at the race track or that the bashing sight.
Here's a video of him playing around.

Man I wish I were closer as well I would love to help out and to be apart of this event. Drivefastgto that was nice of you clear this up for us thanks, +rep for ya.
SD sorry to hear that you were sick bro, hope ya fell better soon. That truck of yours looks as sick as you probable fell, you have done a good job on this build.
You are probably right sir and tell a large truth, but presonally I still want one of these beast. I'm saving my lunch money for it now, no twinks at break for me.
Hey Allan you can get a more powerful engine if thats what you are after, don't get me wrong the 3.3 is great engine, but it isn't a big block. They make a big bock Kit for the T-Maxx and you can put a verity of good engines in it. OS also makes some very good engines that will bolt right into...
I will do just that, as soon as I get home and start I'll post some pics of all the parts before the start of the project. Just bear with guys and i'll keep y'all posted on this one.
I scored some TVPs from SDMorris I scored some Bulk heads NIP, some other parts off of ebay, and I still have the A arms from my first Savage, so I'm going to start a new Savage build. I work away from home so it will be about 3 weeks before I get started. The plan for now is to use the OS 30vg...
The 3.3 is a great engine you will be very happy with this engine and it dose hold a tune very well. I have 2.5, 2.5r, and 3.3 they are all great engines.
