I'll post some pictures when I get home tonight
The main problem is the braking system
Wolfpack radicals I think the name is emailed me back
For 60 us comes with the motor mount flywheel and cone I'm not sure what's the cone for but I'll see later
Will be a fun build I think.
been awhile since I posted , thought I would post up here .
the whole things works really really well , I wish I did a mid tank months ago now .
I will be doing a mid tank to my other now since mine runs like night and day.
I haven't broken down and bought a battery mount yet , I have just...
I know it's not a savage , but HPI still ,
I'm doing a RS4 super Nitro Big block conversion .
I can figure out the motor mount issue . but the flywheel is a whole other problem.
I've talked with wolfpack and he has the parts I need but i'm cheap and if I can find a working part then thats...
I couldn't tell you what springs came with them I had Silver I think ,
I know the stock caps use a different bladder system , O-rings rather then bladders , Everything else seems to be working ,.
Problem I was also having was they would keep popping off the top mount . I think thats how I bent...
What kind of savage do you have ? thats a good start .
unless you know for sure what truck you have , if you bought it used then most likely you will have to pull the diffs , which isn't a bad thing . if you have had your truck for a bit , gotta learn how to rebuild them anyways .
better to...
removing it is by far the best and safest way ,
you could be like me and just unplug the servo Doesn't help top end though , and I good jump rock or what can slid your linkage and blow up your transmission ,
I would just remove it and be done with it , :pannedout:
best bet is to download the manual for the reverse from hpi reverse process to remove it , it's rather simple , you may need one part to cover the hole hole and a screw.
years ago i used to drill holes but haven't for some time now , most rims comes pre drilled now.the last set i counted 4 holes .that being said i still have my tires expanding.duck seems to work for buggy guys but I don't know how it works for MT tires.
when you reach the lower half of the tank this is when you will see your truck start to lean out , you can tell either by sound, smoke or temperature increase .
what a most do to avoid the HTL is to run a richer setting then they aren't hurting the motor at all . by the sounds of things your...
I have yet to break anything on my 7955TG , and i'm not too worried about it either , I think I would have to do something rather dumb to break it , but thats just me , others may have.
but I'm not doing LiPo or 7.4 volts .
nice looking truck , the 086 is a good bashing pipe I think .
I would save on the three speed and see what else you want first .
I don't like reverse my self and have just learned not to get in to tight spots anymore .
I run the 5955TG it's a couple years old , discontinued now , I believe looking at the specs it was replaced 7955TG ,
I really enjoy mine and would buy another if the price was right .
i have a set of tires I got really cheap a few years back , one was tore , I sealed it up with some shoe glue I think , I only use them for bashing and they have held up fine . . but for just for me I moved the tore side to the inside of the rim.
