1. What kind of glow plugs are recommended for the 5.9??? It came with a R5. I think i read somewhere that you want a colder plug for more nitro and a medium to hot for less nitro, I'm running 20% now, but planning on running 30 when it gets a little warmer out, so whats the best plugs to run...
Oops it just dawned on me that its an XL...LOL!!!:drunk: It looked thiner and the 5.9 lights are missing, thats what threw me off, but you can clearly see Xl on the chassis...I'm retarded

40 MPH for an 1/8th scale monster truck let alone the XL is pretty impressive. If i wanted to hit 50, 60, 70, MPH i would have bought a vehicle that would suit that need.
I'm bout to try out S & W fuels 20% blend, my LHS is selling this now, and the guy in there says he trusts it...so I'm gonna give it a whirl. I believe the guy who makes it is out of PA somewhere.

I'm liking the spec 3 lrp...I'm trying to convince my buddy who just got a MGT3.0 to get the spec 3...either for the MGT or for his traxxas slayer that he blew the motor up in...the spec 3 would rip in that thing!
So i guess in a way its kinda like a regular gasoline engine where as a 5.0 mustang engine makes more power than a 5.8 truck engine...i can see the light now...i have a keen knowledge of Gasoline engines for i went to school for automotive...but theses nitro engines are a lesson all in their...

i would imagine one yank is prob = to holding the button for 1 second...I'm not sure though...I'm just lazy so the roto start is great, but the pull start seems to be the more sensible way...
