uhh...I hate to tell you this man but that pipe is not good for that engine...I actually used the same pipe when I got my LRP at first and it was a disaster...wouldn't hold a tune at all. You're probably going to want to change that pipe, there's a reason its so cheap lol
Its a machine, yes, but its a machine made for recreation/enjoyment, so technically, it is also a toy.
You could classify it as a "mechanical toy that is potentially dangerous if used improperly"
Killer looking truck but X is right, those shocks wont last one run if you're umping and rolling it.
You have to use 8. You can salvage that tire, just super glue a piece of rubber in there to seal it up after you get it on the rim
Remove the horn from the throttle servo and make sure the linkage moves freely. If it does then turn on your truck and make sure the servo moves correctly when giving it throttle. If ya cant figure it out post a vid and it will be much easier for us to help
Anything that lubricates will work in a shock....whether it works GOOD or not will depend on the weight of the oil, as you have seen from your experiment. :)
Grab the wheel/tire firmly and GENTLY tap on the threaded axle you took the nut off of with a hammer. It should pop off. If it doesn't, don't hit it harder because it will damage the threads.
They last plenty long enough if you set the mesh right. You want to set the mesh extremely tight where it binds a lot, and then back it off gradually until it stops binding then set it there and make sure the engine mount is nice and tight so it does not move at all.
Binding is also a major...
a little is okay, but none is even better. You want as little as possible. Like X said make it as close as you can without causing any friction.
Optimal setup is the bell spinning freely with no play in it
I just picked up a nib artattack rc snowmobile on ebay! I am going to get some pics video and do a short initial review and my thoughts on it.
Stay tuned for arrival!.....
