uh huh uh huh yeah thats what I was thinking......stadium trucks are out....I really just want an mt that handles better.....savages can be lowered to handle better but then its not really an mt any more.
I think I am going to post up a picture later of all the stuff I have and the condtion of...
So, I have been thinking about selling all of my savage stuff to get some $ to get either a really nice axial crawler (I love crawling) or an lst xxl (used)
I would keep all of my engines, clutches pipes and things that are interchangeable with other trucks like the lst.
Anyways what do you...
Believe it or not, proline big joes do really good on grass. And they come premounted on 17mm rims:

If the servo you have is an hpi sf 20 then it has 91oz in of torque. Which is pathetic.
You can get a good much more powerful servo for a lot less than $100. For what you need you will want a servo with 200oz in or more
These are some good options...
17/47 is too high for all surfaces IMO
I run 16/49 and it the perfect ratio for all around bashing on grass, dirt, street, gravel, sand, whatever.
Doesn't overheat the CB as long as the mesh is good. Set the mesh so that it just starts binding a little bit then back it off just a HARE
Rules on how to jump.
Do not let off the throttle before you reach the top of the ramp and coast over it.....it will nose dive.
While in the air, give it throttle to make the nose go up, and brake to make the nose go down.
Thats all there is to it
practice makes perfect
