no i don't have the 3 speed yet just original 2 speed it's in the works though. This thing has been taken apart for about a year now so i'm just gonna have some fun with it now and upgrade stuff a little later. I've waited long enough. Thanks everyone for the nice comments!
i bent it while bending it to install it, you have no idea how peaved i was when it happenned, i am going to roll the dice and do my breakin without it lol.
i will say this site and another one i'm on really helped me out with the build. The midtank was suprisingly easy after seeing pictures from members who have done it before
Started out as an original savages ss .25 and here it is now, oh yeah i know i have no brakes i broke the rod when i was trying to bend it lol. And I will be beating the living crap out of this thing after break in!!
Tell me what you guys think, any suggestions, comments?
i had a similar problem today as well. I bought crappy integy 17mm/23mm wrench for my 40 series wabash rims (17mm) and the damn thing is too short to screw in the nut arggghhh $18.95 down the drain.
i sealed the whole engine except for this so the carb is already sealed, and I havn't even ran the engine yet so I'm not going to replace anything. thanks guys i just put some on the outside of the pin and screw. I just watched that air leak test on youtube too. Thank god I did that
I have an airleak in my lock pin for my carb. I did the soapy water test and seen some bubble. My question is how do I seal that part of the engine? This is for an axial .28 spec 1s
