Wow this thread is really old. Hard to believe my son is now 11yrs old. Update wise he still has all the same issues going on. To add to the list 3 weeks ago we spent 3 days in the hospital due to internal bleeding. After several blood transfusions and surgery they were able to stop the bleeding. He is feeling better but has been on a soft food only diet for the last 3 weeks. We go back to the hospital April 6th. He has to be scoped again to make sure everything is healing properly and that their is no other bleeding.

I'm new to this forum and I just read the whole trail. Man I feel for u. No one can imagine how difficult it must be for you. Stay strong and all will be fine. Have faith. But I have to say you do have a very strong and brave boy.

@X25 I just had time to sit and read through this thread. As a father of 6 (4 biological) I can't imagine how rough it's been on your family. If there's anything I can do, even if it's a friendly ear, PM me and I'll shoot you my number.

Yes I am lucky to have such a brave and strong son

Well his surgery went pretty well. He has had a rough couple days but will recover. The great news is that he has grown out of his milk egg and cheese allergy. He is super excited about that. He can't wait till he recovers from surgery he has requested scrambled eggs and also can't wait for a grilled cheese. I'm so happy that everything went good
