well, I made some mounts out of plastic today....it's much more sturdy. I also found an old ofna brake linkage, which I lightly modded to work for the throttle. I ran a tank trough it( before the linkage and mount) and the carb was closing when I was braking. the ofna linkage took care of that. I did strip a spur( my clutch bell was loose) so for winter I think i'm gonna go with a metal spur:eek: I know, I surprised myself. I keep u posted, and ill put pics on soon

:eyes: Ofna has a couple tanks for buggy and truggy that will work.... I have my doubts the servo is going to stay put and not shift around it needs to be firmly attached to the chassis using some kinda mount....

Traxxas T-Maxx servo mounts work pretty well for the throttle, and are dirt cheap, if you haven't came up with a solution yet..

But, good work! Trial and error is the way of the hobby

Turn that spur gear around, there's still tread on the transmission side!!

Isn't that the Gen10 Gears? ..haha!
Great work on the plastic for the servo mount. As a suggestion, if you want it more secure, you could add cable ties to really hold the servo in.

so yesterday I was at xtreme rc, my LHS, and he was selling all of his losi racing stuff for DIRT CHEAP. I'm talking 5b a arms for 5 bucks, shocks for 3 bucks, etc. anyway, seeing as I don't have a losi, I figured there was nothing goo, right? wrong!!!!5b radio box set for 4$! so I grabed it, went home, and started working. let's start with the rx box... I had to cut the servo mount off, but that's it even came with a waterproof switch sleeve I had to use a arm pins to mount it until I find long and thin screws now the battery box was even simpler. I put a screw right in the center of the shock tower, and bam! done all done! seems to fit and work good, next will be an ofna tgank, eventually. madye I can find one of those on clearance too ;)

Love the boxes! Hard to find some decent sized and space ones here in my LHS's! But looking good for sure!
