    just an update I solved it..... the throttle trim was set too high, completely closing the carb, which is why it would only run on the prime.

    I am planning on buying a savage that the clutch needs to be cleaned or replaced. He said he greased the transmission and got in the clutch. Is the clutch savable, or does it need to be replaced? How hard is it to clean or replace the clutch?
