    If you have the patience, you can repair it but the string will be a little shorter. There is a video on youtube about how to do it.

    RTV is a high temp silcone that you get at an auto parts store. Most people here use it to seal their engines.

    I have been using 20% Sidewinder. I seams to be pretty decent, my tune is almost exactly the same from day to day. One nice thing is it doesn't require you to use after run oil.
