    It would be cool but not likely. With the amount of things to change over in a conversion kit you'd probably better off buying the whole thing from the get go. Yea I've been prepping the ol lady for when they do finally release it!

    DO IT!!! ;) Haha...the fuel is the beauty of it for sure. For what I pay for a gallon of nitro I could get 3gal of gas and some 2stroke oil; and be good for a month! I think it's cheaper through tower. Don't know when you add shipping though.

    Agreed! I wonder when or if hpi will announce the winner of the 1st octane? You think they'll wait til it's released or give it away before so it would add to the hype?

    Price isn't that bad if you take a look at the prices of the savage lineup. The "special edition" was/is $800 out the door! Woodie; you said it best! I think the octane is going to do just fine and I can't wait til it's here. I do think it will be a little more sluggish dare I say then the nitro...

    I've got an axial .28 rr; it's my first "upgrade" engine so I really don't have anything to compare to other then the original mill (an HPI S-25)! But it'll drag my buddies HPI .28 H.O.

    hpi lcg tvp question

    i probably will just call fastlane n see how long it would take for shipping. i was also thinking about getting some stock tvps and giving them to my buddy at the machine shop. he could make a thicker set of tvps.
