    Sure either you make it attach elsewhere in the rear, maybe on the shock towers or relocate the fuel tank and your away. Mounts would be the same shape just shorter aluminium bars.

Hasn't bent out of shape at all and I think this is due to the cage being fitted well in the mounts and the mounts being strong.
