    i did replace the spur gear cause it was loose and melted the back of the gear so i tightened the slipper all the way 1/4 out was this to tight what usually blows a diff?

    Nice day opened it up a bit for some long jumps and some air.hit the ground on all fours and heard a snap shut the engine down and the truck will roll forward and reverse about six inches then wheels lock tranny looks good is this the diffs?truck is a savage 4.6 still all stock

    i stripped mine as well today ive got the same amount of play in mine? i was just running on some grass when i shredded mine. engines got no play in it at all but i have not checked mesh in awhile:duh:
