    well i am having a couple issues so i am replacing the tranny case and the motor mount and see if that fixes my constant spur abuse problem.

    is there an aluminum or hardened tranny case for the savage x i just got this toy used and the screws are stripped or stripping in the top cover?

    i am just worried about breaking something expensive right now spur gears are a cheap break point if something is wrong the steel gear wont strip so what else is getting stressed. i am still working on the pics. thanks for all the responces.

    i have tried aligning it and the mesh seems right but to get it that way i have my engine max adjusted to one side so i don't have any more room to adjust ?

    what are the downsides of putting a steel spur gear i am eating through the plastic ones like they are candy and eveything seems tight?
