I was at a buddy's house last weekend bashing around and his did the exact same thing. He went in to price some new gears and 10 minutes later mine did it too. I haven't checked my truck out for cracked plates or loose engine mounts or anything yet. It's got about 3/4 gallon through it at...
Ok I'll check that first...not sure on the temp, my buddy has the temp gun, I'll have to get it from him and monitor it, then I'll update ya.
Thanx for the response
I don't mean to threadjack:slapped:
I have a question pertaining to this exact situation.
Is a little smoke at full throttle fine? Is that what is supposed to happen?
Leaning out will reduce the smoke correct? So once I get it leaned out correctly, I can set set the idle?
Reason I ask is...
Just a little update fellas. Took it outside earlier and it is fixed:happy:
That was the problem, just trying to figure out how that happened?? Oh well, it's fixed now, on to tuning. Again thanx guys, I really appreciate it.
On a side not, I was considering tackling the throttle/brake mod...
Holy crap, I think that fixed it, I just need to take it outside and run it to confirm it, but it looks like it worked. Man I love this forum, everyone seems like real stand up people here, thank you everyone for the help.
I'll jump on in a bit and confirm that that fixed it. I been reading...
yea I checked that, it's actually all the way down, or all the way to the left. My buddy's is actually right in the middle
PS. I will be watching this closely in hopes of coming up with a solution
I'll try to make this as short as possible, while still giving any pertinent info to help troubleshoot the problem.
I finally broke my truck in Saturday(Savage 4.6 RTR) and did some mild tuning before we ran out of light. It was running great, not having any problems at all.
Well yesterday...
