So did HPI change their mind about these shocks? I'm still wanting them but man.... this has got to be the longest most drawn out release I have ever seen.

I was thinking about buying a complete diff off e-bay... it looks cheaper to just buy a NEW already built with EVERYTHING to include the case then it is to buy the specific part + bearings... Heck I could get the FRONT & REAR cases with Diffs for less then I can get a new Differential + bearings...
My Savage has developed a strange "Clicking" noise when I apply the brakes... the braking seems to have also Faded when it does this.
i have visually inspected everything I can see without taking it appart and can not see anything wrong.
So my question is... what did I brake?

I just had a similar issue with my ROTOSTART... The oneway bearing was SHOT... it went from slipping every now and then to more often to all the time. I just replaced the one way bearing and all is good. Starts every time.

It seems their are 2 types of 4.6 cooling heads.
There is a TWO PIECE head for the SAVAGE X RTR 4.6 (uses a two piece HEAD BUTTON/COOLING HEAT SINK)
And a different ONE PIECE head for the SAVAGE X SS (has a one piece COOLING HEAD)
Does ANYONE know if they are they interchangeable?

Yeup... I bet he would have been tugging at his shocks all day trying to get them off...but if he used the instructions he would not have forgotten the additional screws. WOW thank GOD for instructions!
