I just got the FLM mid tank done with an OFNA 250cc tank. Today was the first time firing up the truck for the season. Half tank lean is definitely a thing of the past. And as for run times. WOW. I wasnt paying attention to the clock but Id say at least a half hour. I just wanted to give a thanks to everybody on the forums. You guys are a great resource. Now if I can just get my engine temps under 300. I know I know way too high. But the engine runs just fine. If you want to yell at me because of that go to the engine tuning section because I posted on there looking for some help. Anyways, FLM is good stuff for sure.

it doesn't fit, but you make a minor change to make it work. The FLM plate has a row of holes along the front of the plate - I just added a little scrap of aluminum to the front through the existing holes, and wala, it worked.

This is a pic of my son's truck with a smaller tank on it, but you get the idea:

If you decide to do this, remember you can get aluminum flat plate stock for MAYBE $3 at Lowes/Home Depot/etc to make the diving board cheap.

Now, that said, it will make something work that was not necessarily meant to work, but I would recommend getting one made for it (like Larson's, but I have not seen that yet). The difference in price is negligible, but the quality of the work is entirely dependent on your skill with a hack-saw 🙂 So far, I have been lucky 🙂

thanks any way 🙂

Wish I would have thought of that... I had a 250cc but returned it because I thought it wouldn't work with my FLM mount :cwm27:
