i would buy one.....hell i spent enough money on the whole darn truck so wh go slack on the pipe????

I am also interested. The only factor that I don't like is the loudness. I live in a quiet neighborhood and don't want to be annoying them when I play with it. I also thing the stinger should be placed on the side so the nitro won't blow into the body. Other than that, this pipe is gonna be great.

i got to experience the mac's pipe in person this weekend on Baddasz_Savage truck with ERCM Lrp.

he ran his truck with a dyn 086 pipe & it Ripped!!

then he ran it with a mac pipe & it Ripped!!

the pipe does make a mess on the truck. the pipe is a good bit louder. these 2 factors dissappeared for me when i saw it run. i shot vid of it running on both pipes. try to get it on the site today or tomm.

I'm a person who is not easily impressed & i have no idea or experience on what this pipe will do for a different mill, but on badd's lrp .28, the power gain was amazing. just thought id share.

its time for a new pipe for me, depending on the final design, mainly price I'm in. if its over 70$ i will probably do it myself though.

still in developement...new ideas in the works...soon friends soon.

can you disclose any of the ideas? i have new interest in this pipe after last weekend's bash.

main concern ive hear peeps mention is the stinger/mess it leaves on the truck. just wondering if the new pipe will be likely to take this concern into design?

thanks cam

I would like to see the spring style coupler opposed to the rubber coupler and zip ties. With the stinger it would be cool if it could come out the side or even like a half way point, 45 degree maybe. A hard coated option would be awesome! As far as the pressure fitting goes would it be possible to have it adjustable like the fitting on your carb? I know some peeps like it facing one way and others the other way. I think it would be a pretty popular pipe and ppl would pay. I mean some already pay $100 for the Buku. Which I don't think is that great for the price. Just my .02.

noise ain't a factor for me either.....i mean ..... i drive a baja with a ddm rear dominator!!!!!!!

i agree with the soul-man here. at first you hear the pipe & your like "whoa, thats loud" but it has an attractive growl to it that & you get used to it fast.

again, it had a very noticeable power-gain on the lrp. so its wasnt loud just for sake of being loud.

So heres an idea taken from traxxas and my revo. What about a header that allowed you to run it behind the engine like the revo. Ofcourse this would be limited to XL users or people with extended chasses but it would be better than it being on the side IMO. With the exahust comming from the front and the pipe design indending it to blow straight through, don't change it or it wont work as well. If the pipe is behind the engine it would then blow the exhaust out the side of the truck. The tuned pipe would be less likly to be damaged that way also..

Any thoughts??

you mean sideways?

either way i don't think it would work, these pipes are bigger then they look, his last one was like 7 inches i think?

the trx small blocks have a side exit exhaust if i remember correctly. thats why they can do that. good idea though.

How long till youll be releaseing the new design Jcam?

I'm not designing, just talk to the man often. 🙂 Purenitro is designing these pipes with Macs Pro, the thread you see stickied is my build of Purenitros' first design which I followd his instructions to the T and dotted all the i's.

I spoke with him a few days ago about these pipes, there are some changes and additions...not my place to release this info (sorry guys).
Robin is still working hard on this design and it will come to fruition.

sorry cam, i figured you were were part of design team after seein' your work in the 'how to' thread with this pipe.

wouldnt have surprized me in the least caz imo designing a pipe like this is within your ability given your r/c experience & how you make your living.

& i should know caz i got several of your mods on my savy (& Hellfire) :resp:

again, seeing this pipe on video does not do justice to what it does in person; after last Saturday's bash, this is a project that i am really looking forward to.

nice work guys, I'm sure its gonna be kill-ah
