ok i was just recently at a parking lot where it had some dirt and jumps...well, i was practicing my jumps and lands, but unfortunelty it keeps nose diving......well here are my mods>>>>>>> savy x with xl tvps, 1/2" offset wheels, onlybatterypacks humppack mounted on the front shock tower, only reason it is mounted there is cause that is where www.onlybatterypacks.com said it is best to mount and fit the 5 cell...if poosible maybe i can relocate it to a better area...i know that if when jumping and you hit the brake it iwll nose dive ... but my case is that i don't hit the brakes and it does it on its own...help me guys!!!

Make sure you don't land hard on the throttle .. You will blow your diffs ..

Brake in the air nose dives .. throttle in the air nose lifts ...

Personally I find that hitting the throttle just as you're leaving the jump puts the nose up just enough that you should be in a good position in the air.

That pack should fit in the stock RX box (on its side) just fine. But my racer has the pack low in the same spot(No RX box)... It will be fine out there.
I also like to leave the ramp under power. Then make any corrections in the air as Jester posted. NO gas or brake while landing. Even if the landing is bad don't try to correct it to late. I'll take the busted shell over the blown diff every time!

ive noticed that the way the jump is set up will affect they way the truck starts its flight...where i bash is basically a bmx track at a park, if i hit the backside of one of the hairpins i guess ill call them from the grass my truck nose dives. but if i come from the track side its jumps nose up.....

bankrupter, i tried on the stock location but it will not fit....i ordered a hpi rucs battery box hopefully that will work...

Your probably doing what I used to do. Your letting off on the gas before you leave the jump. Let off of the gas just as your tires are leaving the face of the jump and get back on throttle after the tires touch down.

If your shocks bottom out on the ramp it will trip you up. Make sure you have plenty of spring on the back end.
The same is true with monster trucks. Having a litte bit of throttle rythm will help you too.

i do the same thing, i let off 5 feet before, then punch it as the car hits the bottom of the jump.

i bet your brake is on slightly, causing it do nosedive when in air and you don't even notice it..
