I am having trouble with the rim falling off the axle. I make sure that they are tight before i even drive it. then about 10 minutes later it falls off. I have even check it when i refuel. Thought axle might be bad even replaced it still having same problem. sorry only when when i have beadlocks w/ fat joes does this happens. Put stockers back on haven't had any problems. Anyone have any ideas to help me with my troubles. Thanks

hmmmm I'm not sure why they would do that as i've never run beadlocks as of yet but alot here do so I'm sure someone will post some help soon for ya!! GOOD LUCK!!!!!

the only thing i could think of is what everyone else is saying the plastic locking thing inside the nut is likely toast!!

Did you try replacing the nut? When I had a tire fall off I replaced the nut and it hasn't happened again.

If I'm not mistaken, Big Joes are 40 series, right? are you running 23mm or just 14?
Thats not it. Ive run joes on 14's fine. Most of my 40's are 14. Only a few have I steped up to 23's now.

Are you losing the nut each time and picking it up? If so +1 on the toasted nylon locker. Also make a mark on the rim that falls off. Is it the same tire/rim or same Nut each time? If nut problem solved but if its same rim different nuts it could be something more going on here.

All beadlocks are 23mm. I had the same problem, just get a new nut, but for a temporary fix, I used threadlock on 1/2 the nut. That would keep it on for the full bash day. Did you buy proline adapters or other bran?

haha good point. I didn't know Axial sold wheels for 1/8 trucks. So I have been corrected. Well all proline beadlock wheels are 23mm. Does any other companies sell beadlock wheels for savage or 1/8th trucks?

Maxamizer sells bead locks.....i just saw the axials at the LHS thought i would try them out see what they are like.... now i just have to pick a set of tires...

I didn't know that axial had so many options for 1/8th. Proline has had that market cornered for so long. I just didn't thick to look else where.

Thanks for onpening my eyes.

Thats what I would think. The plastic lock in the nut must be bad.

I am running axial beadlocks with 17mm hubs.I have replaced the nut even replaced the axle thought it might be bad. It is always the same one. As a matter of fact last weekend it happened twice on the same day. I put the stockers back on after it happened the 2nd time, really haven't had a chance to get it out.
