After that I would do hop-ups Pipe. steering bearings, etc..

Steering bearings instead of the bushings in the steering posts, ofna linkage mod, stronger steering servo. All cheap and easy to do.

Hey Guys For The Ofna Mod , I Was On Tower Hobbies Site And I Just Typed In Ofna Linkage..it Took Me To Several Items...but In The Description It Says It Is For A Ofna....any Part Numbers Someone Can Guide Me Through???

I agree... except the throttle mod.

I'll echo all this once more...

The Benny of this mod is better all around control. HPI has a week servo saver slip system on the throttle servo that for lack of a better word is just junk. This mod and the traxas mod will improve breaking and provide better throttle action.

I will also recommend getting a hump pack battery if you have not already. Plus a in line fuel filter, but a sintered one. Not screen type.

I agree with the previous posts...the steering is junk and needs some mods...I did the ofna linkage...hitec servo...and a hump pack...the bearings for me is next...

however...i would highly recommend the first item you buy besides fuel is a fail safe...if your savage takes off on you from loosing frequency where yo no longer of control...slams into something and breaks into several pieces...all of the bearings..servos...linkages..in the world won't prevent that... they usually run around 30 bucks....i found this on ebay....take it from someone who learned the hardway and got very lucky....get the failsafe as soon as you can. 🙂
