ok so i just finished installing my new ofna linkage on my X. I'm still not ready to run but i thought i would see if it works before i go out to run my truck. so i turn my radio on and put the truck on the floor and push it and it stops like I'm holding the brakes, but I'm not holding the brakes. but when i pull the trigger to give it gas is glides nicely (like it should).

hope this makes sense please help!!

thanks

May want to check the trim adjustment on the transmitter. Another thing you may look at is the adjustment on the linkage. Make sure you have a little room at the spring on the brake linkage. If you post a pic of the linkage we would be able to make more suggestions on the problem.

I'm using the spektrum 3.0 (haven't used it yet either) but i adjusted the linkage a little bit and it seemed to help. but i think i need a stronger servo too because I'm using the spektrum high torque one i think its called (the better one) it just doesent seem strong enough.

it just seems like its having a hard time but i am going to fool around with a little more to try and fix it.

thanks for the help

get that picture up and we can help better. Like mentioned above you are going to want to shorten the stroke on the brake side or take the stopper and move it so there is more slop.

here are a couple pics

take about 1/4" out of your Fuel tubing on the brake side. You also may want to put kind of a z bend in the Rod going to the brakes but make the angles as low of degree as possable. This will help keep them from bending. You want the rod to slide threw the Purple slider fairly easily. Give this a try let us know back.

Or better yet flip the throttle one to the top and the brake one to the bottom this will give you better straight shots.

Then take 1/4" out of the fuel tube.

yea i was messin around with it and i flipped the throttle onto the top and brake on the bottom. and i found my problem. it was that i tightend the screw holding the sliders on to the servo horn too tight so i loosened it and now everything is working like a charm!!!

thanks for the help guys!!

Didn't yous sliders come with the little silver bushings. These are there to prevent you from being able to tighten it down to tight and to keep them swiveling easily.

thanks chase....:coolkid01: is this the only thing i need???
