T23 TO T25 THROTTLE AND BRAKE

I'm making another savage out of parts I had left over from other project. My problem is the new servo is a T25 and the throttle and brake arm is a T23. Is the arm for the newer savages a T25 servo? or am I going to have to customize it?

Seems simple enough to get the proper servo horn to fit what servo you plan on using....

The Savage came with a set of 23/24 & 25T servo horns, the most popular size seems to be 25T as your DS3225 25kg servo uses. Airtronics (Sanwa), KO, JR and Multiplex used 23 splines but like Jamo states either get the original 25T savage throttle/brake servo saver or just do an Ofna throttle conversion using the alloy horn you have, a Fastrax FAST94RBK throttle linkage kit, a couple of rod stoppers & a piece of 2mm rod to replace the standard throttle rod. The whole conversion will cost you around £7 and works so much better than the std setup.

Thanks for the info, I like the set up you used. For this savage I'm going to go with the stock set up. But my other ones, I think I'll go with your set up. The savage I'm working on now, I call my junkyard dog, since it's made up of my old stockpile!!
