I ORDERED ENOUGH TO DO MY 2 21'S AND MY 25 SAVAGES
PLUS AN EXTRA FOR THE X4.6 .

MAN FINALLY PARTS FROM THE MANUFACTURER . ????:guitarplay:

Will there be any new HPI nitro shells? As that's top of my list.

Hope these forged gears are equal to the original machined versions, their colour is similar.

One definition of forged - copied fraudulently; fake.

The other definition, one which is perhaps more probable in the context at hand, refers to a manufacturing process which involves the shaping of metal using localized compressive force/pressure... ? One advantage of forged steel is its additional strength in comparison with cast or machined steel.

But yes, you are right in thinking that the machined BP and the forged BP gears have similar appearances. Note also that both have the same gear ration of 29t/9t.

There are quite a few options available on eBay mate, just did a quick search on 'savage motor mount'. Mostly HK, China so if you can't find anything more local that might be an option.

I regularly order from AliExpress and have never had a problem, but I always make sure I use the AliExpress shipping option, never the sellers own method.

I'm sure there are others here who can help, there have been various brushless conversions on this site ????

Glad to see parts will be flowing again.I just got back into the hobby and am rebuilding my savages, expensive but i do see diffs out there, the axles are hard to come by though!....ive already reversed them, and need to get spares asap!

Hey guys, been out of the loop for a while. Glad to see this new company trying to get things going.I have 3 nitro Savages and I just purchased a used Savage Flux HP. I quickly learned that alot of the drivetrain components are different on the Flux vs the nitro. So i purchased some crown gears and pinions from rc4me. Just wondering if anybody has tried these and if there any good. Not sure whos making them for them. I bought them for spares cause nothing else seemed to be available.

I have bought a set of Spiral gears to try out in my 5sc flux, hope they are better.
I hear they are,the old style ones are a little better when you shim them, but let me down many times,i have a few left, and have a set of spirals also to try one day

I actually have 2 sets of the spiral gears, will be upgrading the next savage as well when they strip.
Currently own 2 5sc Flux on is completely stock.
2 Savage XXL Flux converted and custom chassis plates, longer than an XL
1 Savage XL
Planning on converting one of the XXL to an XL, didn't like how my battery tray came out for the custom chassis.

Being optimistic

First impressions they are coated with something and fitment is on point ... the other gears never fit right

This a help answer to the body question. If you have extended TVPs, bodies made for 1/10th scale short course trucks fit really well.

Just keep blowing the pinion gear...I’m starting to lean towards a bad bulkhead because I even converted back to 1/8 to lose weight and I blew another pinion today did last long tho. Front one seems to be holding up fine

I see, thanks for the response.
