rotostart to pullstart conversion

There is a brand new F4.6 engine with pullstart, clutch, bell & exhaust on eBay in UK for £100. You could drop this straight in and it would mean you have a spare engine (normally it is my wife that is excellent at spending other people's money!!)

what parts did you get for this conversion? i have the starter roto start system but i really don't like it, I'm wanting to go to pull start myself

no worrys ive figured it out, you need #107829 - ONE WAY BEARING 14mm HEX FOR PULLSTART/ROTOSTART and #107828 - PULLSTART 14mm HEX £35 max

So I have a Savage X 4.6 as well and would like to get that terrible roto start converted to a pull start. I have two questions. Did you need to replace the shaft? and why are the numbers different on the parts breakout that Jam provided versus the numbers you suggested in the quoted post?

Hi my husband has the savage xl 5.9 and he's got a rotor start on it atm could someone please tell me what he needs to buy to convert it to a pull start and somehow walk him through doing it step by step please?

If it's the Nitro Star K5.9, then I think all you need to do is remove the roto start/housing
