Thanks @hpicelery. I couldn't wait and already bought some tires and rims. Also, I'm hoping not to change the gearing. I've had this Savage for probably 2 months and still haven't had a chance to drive it. I did hear it run the other day though, so I'm getting closer.

I already have the 17mm hexes as they came with the 14mm hexes when I bought those.

Good good. You may run into a problem with those wheels if they have the Traxxas splined hexes, which won't fit over HPI's standard hexes. If that's the case, you can use a chisel or something like that to cut the little splines out of the wheel hexes so they'll fit.

Yeah, I'm going to use some side cuts and maybe a dremel if need be because as you said they are splined.
