Exhaust cooler?

I'm running a truggy pipe on my truck, putting the nipple for the fuel line tight to my TVP's. Makes it a real pain to remove and put back on for priming. Was thinking of putting something in the middle of the line for easier priming. Saw these 'exhaust coolers'. Anyone tried these before?

I can't give a answer on the exhaust coolers as I have never used them. For priming my motor I just put my finger over the exhaust outlet and turn the motor over a couple times, by doing this you create back pressure allowing fuel to reach the carb.
I also run a truggy exhaust and have found this way to be a little easier for me.

I use these on all my RC's for priming:

As an added benefit, I get a bit more time when I flip them on their roof to get to them.

On my savage, I keep it behind the shock tower so it doesn't flop around and stays out of the way of things.

I can't imagine it would help a whole lot... As far as cooling the exhaust headed to the fuel tank, and increasing fuel temperature being the concern.
Could always try and let us know!

Ya I'm sure if they did work the difference would be hard to even notice. I was just hoping someone would say that they're fantastic
