transmission problems

I'm at a loss since my rc experience is limited to the POS tycos you get a toys are us for 50 dollars this is my first nitro and I noticed every time my savage shifts into second gear it stalls the engine or blows out my slipper clutch its almost like its stuck between two gears this is my first nitro

Hi, I had a problem with my gear to. don't K og what happend but after i open it one of the gears was damaged.. When i moves the car forward with my hand it stopped and grinded some gears..

Bought a new 3 speed gear bor on eBay. haven't got to mount it yet. 🙂

Just open it, you will probably find the problem that way.

I have opened it up no damaged gears think of breaking down the shafts to investigate further I'm thinking it's the little clutch disk things that do the shifting

Loctite the 3 screws on the first speed gear ( plastic one), they work loose!
