i am having so many troubles with it. it wont move at all i checked everything i could think of on the truck. i am serious about trying a traxxas t maxx.

LOL if you cant get a savage to run Id not go near a traxass toy. Tighten the slipper nut

There is a nut over a spring on the slipper clutch. This is a known point of a new savage to give issues to a guy new to the game. If the motor runs but the truck wont move this is the starting point to trouble shoot.
 
Also, read through your owner's manual a few times and familiarize yourself with the car and its parts.


your fun factor will increase x 100% with the more knowledge that you gain. it should be a requirement that everyone's first r/c be a kit. forces you to learn more about it (woulda saved me a lot of headache in the beginning).
 
I am thinking about buying the yellow and pink color hpi savage x 4.6 so I would have both color versions of them.
 
Must be nice.....

There's a yellow and pink and there's a green and pink. And the red of course. Looks like you need to buy 2 more.
