Ok guys since I'm using the OFNA 250cc fuel tank with my Mid-Tank i can't use the FLM servo plate and since i had some 2mm aluminum laying around i thought i could do some thing with it 🙂

The dremel cut of discs i have are to small so ill ask my Dad to get it CNC'd 🙂

Nice!

I put this in another post, but you could use it here too. The cheapest way I have found to make posts is to use 3/8" round aluminum stock - cut to length, drill with 7/64 bit - and M3 machine screws will thread themselves right in. To protect the plastic tank from the aluminum posts, I put a piece of fuel line in the hole, between the screw and the tank mounting hole - as you tighten the screw, the tubing flares, holding the tank with the expanded rubber tubing instead of compressing the tank to the post. The other nice thing about this is it acts sort of like a shock absorber. Remember, though, with this setup you cannot crank it all the way down - you need to leave it a tad loose, so put threadlock on it to keep it from backing out.

Yes i had that in mind...
So the "M3 machine screws" are the black hexed screws that can be used on the TVP braces ??
 
Crap - I have not used the standard Savage screws for so long, I don't know which one to point you to - I get bulk hardware from McMaster-Carr :/

Here's the pic of the tank I just did for my son with the stand-offs.

I have been tossing around the idea of actually making the plates in bulk for sale, complete with tank and uprights - just not sure who'd buy them LOL...

UPDATE ::
So i got to my Dad's friend today in Stanyer Ontario, instead of getting it CNC's he had a % axis water jet (Alot smoother cut) and it looked really nice, we got back home i set the plate on the mounts and it was off way to much..I don't know how or why, i spent an easy 1 hour making a template and making sure all the angles where 90° and my measurement were right...So what i am asking is does any one have the measurements for the OFNA 250cc servo plate ?
