Hi all,

I present my project. With a friend, we are making a Savage brushless in carbon. For the moment I’ve only some pieces and 3D of the chassis and the motor mount. The chassis will be longer as a savage X.

The hop ups I’ve :

-Genesis differential
-4 GST shocks
-FLM aluminium towers
-Futaba 3PM 2.4GHz
-red screws
-Baja bug body for extended chassis
-Hitec HS-7955TG titanium gear digital servo
-Servo saver savage X
-Badland and Crime Fighter LPR tires on praline velocity ½ Offset 17mm

What I’m going to buy :

-Bling Racing CVD driveshafts with 17mm hex.
-MBX6T center diff with diff mount
-Savage Flux battery box
-Savage X bulkheads
-A motor

For the moment I've the esc : a MGM 16025-3 160A 🙂

Some pics :

Then the 3D

We've done a rear motor mount because my friend got a NEU 1527 1D and it's fat 😛

The first 3D we've done:

The last 3D (they're is not finished) :

So now i search a Castle/neu 2200kv motor.

The center driveshafts will be done by a manufacturer.

And sorry for my bad English but I’m French ^^

Looks to be an awesome build man, i think id be inclined to go with either the lighter and stiffer flux bulks or even alloy bulks as opposed to the X bulks though.

Thanks all for your comments 😉

I know but a friend give me his X bulks ^^.

Thanks

I want a light savage but a resistant too ! I will use it only for bashing so it has to be resistant.

Looks like it is going to be a sweet build, Guix.. Can't wait to see more pics..

Like Bank stated if you are using Quasi-Iso sheets you can remove quite a bit and keep the strength, if not using Quasi you can remove some but don't go to far.

How thick are you going with it?

Looks like you have a great start. I assume your using the wide skid to mount battery's? Keep up the great work and keep us updates.

Hi,
What do you mean by Quasi ISO Fiber ? A good quality of carbon ?
All the carbon parts will be in 3 or 4mm (it depends of the price).

Thanks amm for your positiv comments 🙂

Hi,

I want a light savage but not th emightest savage in the world ^^ I want a strong and light savage that's why i don't remove some carbon.

Some pics of the complete 3D 🙂 Now i have to find a place for the servo :

Very sweet. Great detail as well.

However, if you use Quasi-Iso Carbon you can remove quite a bit of material with out sacrificing the needed strength. Take a look at how much my TVP's are cut out and they are still probably close if not the strongest TVP's on the market. Granted I use a very high quality carbon Fiber.

Hi,

The TVP has been shiped monday by platinium RC. I hope i will receive them soon and then i'll test all.

But i already have this esc on my MBX5T BL and it works perfectly 😉

PRC cut my TVPs. It isn't prc's TVPs.

ok, now I'm really dying to see these.

The PRC stuff looks good & all in pics.

But just wait till you actually get them in your hands..... you will drool.

Man I'm glad to see this thread & build moving forward, you really put some good work and talent into the design.
