what are you useing for the two stand offs ?

still not sure what you mean did I miss something. It works great as pictured changes the camber as the shock compress to keep the tires virtical when the body rolls. Let me know if I missed something. Never saw this conversion in person.

Pope- I edited all your posts with pictures. You don't have to click the "insert image" button when copying links from Photobucket. All you need to do is copy and paste the code Photobucket gives you. Hope this helps.

I like the truck thus far but really want to see how you mid-tank turns out. Should be good. Way to get creative with the CF bracket. Nice work.:FarleyParty:

thanks man.

I need a new set of brakes I bent the steal brake discs last night in that dead drop any advice can't decide CF or fiberglass

I've heard good things about the new red discs, never tried them myself. IMO the old carbon fiber single disc works great.

Did you make it extra wide? the alloy piece has two nubs the keep it solid in the bulk head. w/o them it can move back and forth in the bulk. Just wanted to know how you did that, but could not see it in the pics. You also don't want it to change the camber as the shocks move.

Yep has the pins running through it its the same as the hpi part doesn't slide back and forth. Thought the point of this thing was to slightly change the camber so that as you turn the wheels stay in full contact with the ground that's why the pivot point was lowered and the throw mad shorter.

Does the hpi suspension conversion have a brace in the back too or is it just the front? Can't tell from the pictures of other trucks?

has the same brace on front and back to connect the a-arms. its wider & lower (which is how it changes/improves the roll center) 😛eace:

Thanks I will have to make another one than. going to do some steering mods as well to give it more throw.

Just made a carbon fiber rush box mount I will post pictures when I get to my computer I am on my cell now

Need some advice on servo mounts for mid-tank mod using flm plate pictured earlier and a 250ml tank. anyone who has done this on x tvp's pictures would be great.
