Just started my rebuild project not the big one that i am going to do this winter but a little one while I wait for my OWB to come in next week some time. I am rebuilding all shocks and changing the front to a one shock setup to smooth it out, rebuilding all diffs and upgrading to 4 spidergears, temp upgrade to x tvp's till I get my carbonfiber ones, linkage upgrades, and maybe even a mid tank mod. Got some great ideas for the shocks from you guys; putting stops inside and shorter stops on the outside, changing shock oil to 40 weight, changing to the stock springs off of the plastic shocks because they are a little bit shorter and alot stiffer so they work alot better for what I am doing. changing rear hubs to the new hpi suspension conversion rear hubs. not to mention finaly cleaning the truck. pics to follow.
 
yes I'm interested myself to watch this build in progress.. some pics would be awsome.....

Ground that down we will see if it fits than AJ is sending me a FLM mid tank mount so I will have to rig that up and my owb should be in sat so I should be back bashing this weekend buku pipe will be here in two weeks

I think thats the wrong crossbrace. the ones that would interfere with your drive shafts have a notch already out of them to give you that clearance. ill see if I have one in my box to send you.
 
I have the crossbrace you need. drop it in the mail tomorrow. save that one the was it is and use it for your mid tank plate

Thanks I ground a notch in it so it works perfect now thanks though. Could sill use the brace for the front of the motor mount that one rubs a little.
 
alex you know your going to have to pull that electronics box right? you should get yourself an rpm rx box and antenna stay.
 
going to order tank, RPM box, Servo mounts, Linkage, and whatever else I need once I get the plate and I see what I am working with.
 
when you mount your steering servo to the tvps your going to need a longer drag link, I am actually using a front tie rod from a nitro 4-tec. its light and adjustable.

All three glued and clamped tomarrow they will be made to look nice drilled out all the way and put on the truck after I make custom upper a arms. 🙂
