How have you attached the lights to the v2 bumpers mate. On the blue truck it looks like you have cut the mounting part off the old bumper and screwed it to the new one. Would I be right in thinking this.Bumpers replaced with Flux V2 design and kept the OG lights on
Hi, yes I salvaged the mounting part off V1 bumper and dremeled it then mounted it directly to the V2. Thought of doing the same thing by mounting it similar to yours but I wanted to use old V1 mounts as they line up perfectly. How have you attached the lights to the v2 bumpers mate. I have a few sets of these v2 bumpers and was surprised that they didn't have the mounting points. Got a round this by screwing directly into the back of the lights on one truck & on the other using long screws and going up through the bottom of the bumper.

Thanks! The body / cage are from Team Associated Nomad DB8…sadly this truck is discontinued but managed to get the bodies off eBay.Looking good my friend, what body shells are those?
Well that decision is totally up to you, I have both the Full Ally and the Half ally on my trucks. The full ally obviously look better, but the half ally works great and if not worried about bling than stick with it. The best upgrade you can do to the steering is replace the 4 plastic bushes in the ends of the steering posts with bearings, get a metal servo horn & most important get a decent servo, I use 35kg in all my trucks.So….I’ve been looking for streering upgrade for my X Flux V2. should I go full aluminum crank assembly? And why are they ALL in China?? Lol
Changing to bearings and doing away with them plastic bushes will make the steering fell alot better. It works out cheaper to look the size up and get them off a bearing supplier off eBay. They are 6 x 10 x 3mm.So i lost a screw that ties the left and right together….one of the “step” screws for the long rod…,so I figured for the same $20 I’d go aluminum. But I’m seeing to keep stock and do bearings…,
