So picked up a couple of savages just before xmas for spares. One of these had a Innovative-RC Losi LST shock conversion kit fitted to it. It wasn't in the best of condition but I have now refurb all 4 shocks with new seal, O rings and 55wt oil, clean and polished up all the ally parts, a new set of bolts & O ring on the top shock stand-offs. They now look half decent, the only reason I wanted a set of these was to go on my extended low CG IRC truck.
Fitted the front setup the other day but today fitted the rear part, as need to strip the rear end out to fit the turnbuckle re-locator bracket, which allows for the turnbuckles to be moved from the rear to the front of the lower A-arms, I am still missing the lower arm mounting blocks which move the shocks closer to the diffs making them more upright. Have been on to Rob at IRC and he has put a set in the post today so will fit these when they arrive, so have temporally used some shock spacers I had so as to use the original lower mount holes for now.
Anyway here are some pics of the finished result.
