Easiest way (not so easy but it is the best way) pull the transmission out and set it all up out of the truck.... reinstall and go back bashin....

Assuming you have little RC experience I would have to say you should consult the manual for the truck... I suppose I could give you a step by step but I just don't feel like typing all those directions out.....

Pretty much as Jam1 has replied look & learn from manual is the best way!

Another Savage owner told me the easiest way is take the whole back-end off it. Basically separate the diff, springs, and tires all come off together from the TVPs as one piece.

Yes it can be done that way also... I would still pull the trans so it can be setup more easily, I don't like having to work between the chassis plates. I like to be able to hold the trans in my hands while working on the brakes....
