Good evening folks!

I'm about to buy my first RC Car ever - HPI Savage Flux XL, and I'm having a few questions about which battery I should pick.
Been grinding loads of information into this new hobby, starting to love it before I even have bought my car :)

I found this recently
https://www.batterioutlet.se/rc-bil-li-po-batteri-5200mah-50c-2s2p-7427.html

But will it fit the measurements the battery box has? I thinks its a bit to wide or to high for the box. Is that still fine? Or do we want to have some space for it to get some cooling?
And is it to powerful? I just want loads of power for as long as possible :)

I read alot bout 2s and 3s. Is the main difference more speed/power and higher temperture with 3s?

This will still be good right?

I can't help too much in regards to what batteries to use cuz I don't have a flux xl, only the baby XS. I've had good luck with batteries from HobbyKing.com and most of there batteries are priced really good. I would suggest that the battery is at least 50C rated and get a dual output charger that can balance charge 2 batteries at the same time and can sync between the two. That way both packs are balance charged relatively the same.

The 2S should fit fine, but I think the 3S you found may be too thick. I've run both of these 3S packs in my flux hp which I believe has the same saddle pack holders as yours.

If I remember right, the 6200's just fit in there thickness wise.

I used to run SMC 9000mah 2S packs and those fit ok.
