This is not a For Sale thread by any means just a general pricing inquiry. This may not be the best place for this so if mods feel another area is better suited to this question, by all means, move it.

Doing some Covid Cleaning and have decided its probably time to move my shelf queen along.

It has been a LONG while since I have bought or priced anything Savage related.
Looking for some input on fair pricing for my stuff before I list it, nowadays. I'm very aware that I wont get what I have into as the market has really dissolved for these.

FLM:
Extended and LCG TVP's with drive shaft
Extended skid plate
Light weight motor plate
Hybrid Bulks with BP diffs and SHD cups and dog bones

HPI :
Big Bores
Race Suspension Conversion

.28 Picco and flux 3 speed with dual disc brakes

It's currently together and needs a few odds and ends tied up but I also don't mind parting it
Everything is new or close to it (Picco has a few tanks) and has one trip down the lawn and back

If sold rtr with transmitter and all I would say you should be able to get 4-500 fairly easily maybe 6 if you found the right buyer. eBay auction, even with the fees seems to bring the best money . You have some good parts there. Last I heard FLM wasn’t producing savage parts anymore so that could be a variable on price.

I may be interested in those paddle tires...

It's tricky to put a value to that lot, but damn! That's a sweet rig!

With Savages these days, there are more examples of people breaking them down and selling the individual parts than people selling them whole.

Personally, I think a mint example like yours should be worth at least a few hundred - to someone like me at least.

To Joe public, perhaps 40% less.

So take heart - your rig is worth whatever the highest bidder is prepared to pay for it! IMG_20200423_165558.jpg
Here's mine, still frequently used and lovingly restored. It's 16 years old and mint.

Where about a are you? I think local market dictates a bit too, i listed 2x 90% complete savage XLs in Cairns, Far North Queensland. between the two they only needed (needed spur/slipper clutch/clutch bells, 4x wheel dogbones, new air filter assembly as rubber had perished). I listed both for $500 Not even an enquiry, dropped to $300, not even an enquiry. So have now been canabalising one to get the other going and picking up parts where I can.

My values come from what ive seen on eBay in the past few years. About a year ago I was shopping for a stock savage 5.9 xl and the best deal I could get on a clean non modified truck was 400. About 3 yrs ago I got 575 on an eBay auction for a highly modified 5.9 xl. I had about 1300 in it.

I’d pay 40 for the paddles if they’re in good condition. I’d also be interested in those diff housings depending on price.

If you decide to part it out, I have a buddy with a picco that needs a new button head. His is stripped out and once it's fired up, blows the glow plug out.

I'm in Ontario, Canada and there is an alright market for rc's, lots of action on the local by and sells. I have approximately 1200 usd into it and most has very, very little run time. I pieced it together from this site about 10-11 years ago. I've got everything, minus a body. Everything goes lipos, chargers, 2 boxes of spares and a hardware tower. I understand totally its worth what someone will pay I was just wondering a starting point haha. Thanks for the replies ! I would consider a part out but I need more posts to make an add and id also be worried that I will get stuck with leftovers
