What tool are you using to remove and insert the piston pin clip?

Ok, figured it out, used a pair of straight pointy electronic tweezers.

That works too. I've always used needle nose pliers myself.

Yepp, that was my first choice, but the ones I have are just not pointy enough. And I thought they were quite good
What make/model of pliers do you have?
The tweezers were a bit "unstable" for the purpose. And I wouldn't mind having a pair of good quality needle nose pliers that can fix this in my toolbox

any small pair of needle nose pliers outta do the job, the ones I use have no brand, small pointy jaws and some teeth on the tips helps hold small stuff easily tho.....
Use care installing those clips tho, it is easy to deform them and that will let them dislodge from the grooves
