Hey blazer X, Just tought I'd tell ya in my opinion, the best turnbuckles are the stock ones, for sure. Yea... they stretch and pop off when they get to that point. But, they also save your wheel carriers from being thwacked off on a bad front end landing or taking the worst of a speedy wheel swipe when you hit stumps, trees, curbs, real car tires, standing people, sitting people, steel poles, wooden poles, aluminum alloy poles, telephone poles, PG&E poles. "anything" poles, ect. Racers tend to go for the aluminum options for precision response, but these hop ups have a short life span and can't be considered the most reliable for the long haul. Replacement HPI turnbuckle ends are cheap and easy to keep on hand. Lunsford make good adjustable bars, but there not cheap by a long shot. The HPI ones are also very lite and hold their form for a reasonably long time before they over stretch. You can also place washers before the screws to keep them on more effectively. Just remember that your minimizing the natural protection they provide for the wheel carriers. It's one of the things HPI did right in the case.
