Throttle servo not working

So I tried to start my savage xl today and it would not start checked the carb and there is barley a gap. I tried adjusting it and pushing the throttle sure enough nothing I don't know what to do or what is wrong can some one help?

HUH???? not alot of info and the context is very vague...

did you turn on the switch on the radio system and vehicle??
are the batteries charged? and what kind are you using.....
if all is good above, check the servo and see if it is working, stock servos are known to die without notice...

Actually I just unhooked the battery indicator and it works so now I half to figure out why that is all was hooked up right and yes all the batterys are charged
