Team Associated SC-10 Velineon Build

Got this sc10 kit and put a Velineon system in it as well as a 1015 steering servo and see how she goes.

That's just a foam battery spacer back there. I suppose I could make a mount for it.

They usually go on the tray on the left hand side of the truck. Same place as the Rx, just on the other side of the truck. I would think that might get annoying there since you need to remove the battery strap the get the battery in and out.

Yeah the battery strap just pivots. The esc is too big to fit down on the side where it should go so I stuck it there for now.

I found some damage to the clear kit body so I threw a quick rattle can paint job on it for bashing. i have a Lucas Oil body on the way for racing.

Just me out tearing it up with the sc10. Some speed runs then some jersey barrier bashing. The jersey barrier is what my iphone is setting on. 24/75 gearing on a 2s 30c pack.

Sc10 made its debut at our no limit race yesterday with a Lucas Oil body and came home with a win.

I want to try it on a dirt track but it was still fun in the thick grass.

Well I had to try 3s and boy was it uncontrollable wheelies. Just can't seem to roll into the throttle soft enough above 1/2 way without it lifting the front. Those bodies catch alot of wind though.

Well I was bashing too hard for the temperature outside. I landed perfect and upon rebound the front end turned left. She has had a few hard tail end landings in the past so I wasn't totally shocked about it. New chassis is on the way. I need to stop bashing it.
