Hey guys, so I am in the middle of doing a flm mid tank mod with a ofna 250cc tank. I went to take the old engine mount off of the 4.6 and put the flm one on. Well, I striped one of the hex screwes. Now I can't get it out. What do you guys do when you have a striped screw? A special tool? Throw it at a wall? Anyways, let me know!

The best and easiest way that I have found is to take a dremmal with a cut off wheel and grind a slot across it and use a flat screw driver to remove it. Otherwise you will have to drill the head of the screw off and remove the mill then grab the remainder of the screw with a Vice grip and turn out.

If there is a lot of threadlock in there, or red threadlock was used, you may want to heat it up before you do what larsen suggested.

I've done this before and solved the problem using a piece of notebook paper. Wrap the hex key in the paper, jam it into the hex screw and hope for the best. If one layer of paper doesnt work, see if you can squeeze in another layer
