Does anyone know how much torque the stock steering servo has. I know i probably will upgrade and i don't want to pay for the biggest and baddest, i just what to make sure i purchase something better than what i have.

i am also pretty sure the stock servo has 90 i also use the hitec 645 i have two of them one on steering and the other on throttle/brake and they have never gave me any problems and they don't break the bank

The XL may have 90oz but the X doesn't come with 90oz I can't Imagen they are very weak.

Typically I run the Hitec 5645 for steering.

all depends how much coin you wanna drop and how sweet a servo you want.

the sf-5 has metal gears way more torque but not speed.

you can pick on up on the bay brand new for about $30.

For the thread and future info:

The stock steering servo SF-2 is a futaba 3305 w/o metal gears.
