I'm going to try some cork rubber gasket paper to try to lock my slipper. I became a victim yesterday.

Let us know how the rubberized cork works out. I'm curious.

Thought I saw some using thick leather that had the fuzzy side buffed down.

I'm using gasket material I purchased at auto parts store. $8.99 for a (26"x10"x3/64")roll. Works perfectly fine so far. Not sure how long it will last but it does look pretty durable. If anybody wants me to keep them updated let me know! I'll try and post some pictures.
