hey guys my slipper clutch is only lasting a short while the nut has been tightened nearly all the way up and is ok for a short while but then begins to slip any surggestions

many thanks harty1209

I keep my slipper clutch tightened all the way with spring fully compressed. It'll still break away and slip if it needs to.

If your slipper has spun to much you may need to replace the slipper pad. They get hard and 'glazed'. Run the spring fully compressed, I even add a drop of loc-tite to the lock nut

If you are having an issue with it staying tightened, then it is time for a new lock nut. This is one of the bad things about leaving the slipper anything but locked down. It will constantly back off causing issues.
