so i blew apart my first shock yesterday. when i went to the lhs they gave me the stock replacement. it came with 100wt. oil. is this right? next question is how much oil do i put in the shock. the guy at the lhs said full but i forgot to ask if full with push rod all the way out, in or somewhere in between? thanks for the help

100wt is way too heavy you are going to want somewhere around 30 wt and once the shock is bled you will want to have it almost full with the piston all the way down , leave an 1/8th to a 1/4 of an inch air gap at the top
